Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Stockton, Missouri, is hiring a Clerk for the Stockton Family Medical Center. This part-time position with rotating shifts runs Tuesday–Friday, 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. The role includes answering inquiries, processing forms, and coordinating with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Answering inquiries relating to services and fees, simple insurance inquiries and screening emergencies
• Providing detailed messages, processing of forms, scanning, updating appropriate consent forms, updating insurance coverage, updating demographics, maintaining organization, and completing open and closing procedures.
• Communicating with providers and nursing staff
• Exiting the patient in a courteous and pleasant manner and assisting them with any questions or problems they may have prior to leaving the clinic
• Assisting in scheduling, handling phone calls and routing to the appropriate individual, including making patient appointments per appropriate guidelines set forth by the Provider/Clinic manager.
