Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri, is seeking a Front Office Clerk to support our Rheumatology Clinic and other specialty clinics. This float position emphasizes warm patient interactions, scheduling, and efficient front-desk operations.

You will work with physicians and staff, handle phone inquiries, schedule visits, process demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and assist with referrals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year customer service in healthcare or clerical
• Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants
• Answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people
• Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance, and demographics.
• Collecting clinic co-pays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.

What Your Day Looks Like:

Board-certified physicians and qualified staff at CMH Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Center administer care for a variety of illnesses and diseases.

Services include treatment for:

• Autoimmune diseases
• Systemic Lupus
• Psoriatic Arthritis
• Ankylosing Spondylitis
• Gout
• Osteoporosis

As a Clerk, you will be:
