The MA will handle screenings, administer medications, assist with injections and nebulizers, and maintain clean exam rooms while coordinating with patients on test results and messages from providers in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Nursing/medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the nurse practitioner.
• Completing required screenings and assessing the history of present illnesses.
• Administering medications orally, via injection, or nebulizer.
• Performing IV therapy and catheterization (nurse only).
• Cleaning and restocking exam rooms between patients.
• Communicating test results and provider messages to patients.
