Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Associate for a part-time schedule at Memorial Care Center. The role involves creating purchase orders in Coupa, receiving and stocking supplies, and maintaining the Central Supply room to support staff efficiently.

Responsibilities include reconciling invoice discrepancies, updating tracking systems for PPE, and ensuring accurate stock levels for medical, office, and gas supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• One year inventory and/or purchasing of medical supplies is expected.
• Basic computer and internet skills; proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders in Coupa to track placement, receipt and payment of medical and office supplies, gas products, and other items.
• Receive and stock supplies in the supply room.
• Coordinate returns of over shipments or wrong items and ensure correct supplies are shipped and received.
• Reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory levels for medical, office and gas supplies.
• Maintain stock levels and organize each floor stocking location.
• Keep scanner for supplies charged.
• Manage the return of rental equipment.
• Update tracking systems for special items such as PPE.
• May be assigned other duties as appropriate.
