Professional Credit seeks a Part-Time Medical Coding Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team remotely. This hands-on role sources, screens, and builds pipelines of qualified medical coders for current and future openings.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting, assess coding certifications such as CPC/CCS/CCA, coordinate interviews, and stay current with industry trends. Flexible part-time hours and remote work support growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• 2+ years of healthcare recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting medical coders or specialized healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of medical coding terms and certifications (CPC, CCS, etc.).
• Strong sourcing across job boards, networks, and healthcare platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare recruiter who understands the medical coding industry and enjoys connecting talented coding professionals with the right opportunities.The Medical Coding Recruiter will support the full-cycle recruitment process, with a primary focus on sourcing, screening, and building strong pipelines of qualified medical coding professionals for current and future openings. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the pace of recruiting and wants the autonomy of a part-time scheduleA day in the life of a part-time Medical Coding Recruiter:Full-cycle recruiting:Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and healthcare-specific platforms.Review resumes and identify candidates with the appropriate coding experience, certifications, and specialty background.Utilize Applicant Tracking System to maintain accurate candidates and recruiting activity.Conduct interviews to assess coding and auditing skills, knowledge and relevant experience.Coordinate assessments, interviews, and next steps with candidates and hiring managers.Maintain an active pipeline of qualified medical coders for current and anticipated openings.Ensure a smooth candidate onboarding and assist with orientatio.Stay informed about medical coding certifications, industry trends in healthcare talent and continuously improve sourcing strategies to attract top candidates.Ongoing credential verifications.Other recruiting and HR tasks, projects and duties as assigned.What we are looking for (Requirements/Preferences):A minimum of an associate’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experienceMinimum of 2 years’ experience recruiting, preferably in healthcare, medical coding, HIM, RCM, or healthcare staffing.Experience recruiting medical coders or other specialized healthcare professionals, strongly preferred.Understanding of medical coding terminology and certifications such as CPC, CCS, CCA, CIC, CPMA, CRC, or COC.Background in sourcing candidates in medical coding and auditing specialtiesStrong organizational skills with experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast paced environmentPrevious experience recruiting for an outsourced medical coding or RCM organization.Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work in a team atmosphere and work independentlyWhat you’ll enjoy:Flexible part-time schedule to balance your work and personal goals.Remote working environment.Direct impact on company growth, with real ownership of your work.Potential to grow into a full-time role as we scale.Paid time off and a 401(k)/Roth retirement plan with company matching.Compensation range of $24-$32 per hour (DOE)See what it's like to work at Professional Credit by visiting our website and checking out our video at: http://professionalcredit.com/index.php/careersJoin us to play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and culture!
