Job summary

Professional Credit is seeking a Part-Time Medical Coding Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a remote, part-time schedule (25-29 hours/week). The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and building pipelines of qualified medical coding professionals for current and future openings.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, resume screening for coding experience and certifications such as CPC/CCS/CCA, and collaboration with hiring managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience recruiting, preferably in healthcare, medical coding, HIM, RCM, or healthcare staffing.
• Experience recruiting medical coders or other specialized healthcare professionals, strongly preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding terminology and certifications such as CPC, CCS, CCA, CIC, CPMA, CRC, or COC.
• Background in sourcing candidates in medical coding and auditing specialties.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and healthcare-specific platforms.
• Review resumes and identify candidates with the appropriate coding experience, certifications, and specialty background.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking System to maintain accurate candidates and recruiting activity.
• Conduct interviews to assess coding and auditing skills, knowledge and relevant experience.
• Coordinate assessments, interviews, and next steps with candidates and hiring managers.
