Qualifications

• Experience in podiatry/orthopedic clinics preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prep them for physician visits.
• Complete exam intake and review medical histories.
• Record vitals and documentation in Athenahealth EMR.
• Assist physicians, including taking x-rays and in-room support.
• Restock and clean exam rooms; manage room sterilization.
• Coordinate care and patient outreach for preventive services.
• Support travel to surrounding clinics as needed.
