Job summary

Premise Health in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to support employees and dependents in our on-site Health Center. The schedule is 15 hours per week (Mon 7am–4pm, Wed 7am–1pm) with potential for extra hours.

Lightweight phlebotomy and EMR experience are required; outpatient experience a plus. You will conduct vital signs, manage records, prepare rooms, administer medications, run labs/EKGs, and provide front-desk support.

Qualifications

• Must hold national Medical Assisting certification or approved program with hands-on externship.
• Current BLS/CPR certification with hands-on training required.
• State Lab Certificate where applicable.
• CMA certification from a recognized certifying body.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and interview patients.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications and perform approved lab tests and EKGs.
• Assist front desk with scheduling and calls; order supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Medical Assisting Certification or approved program with externship

BLS/CPR Certification

State Lab Certificate (NV only)
