Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Medical Assistant in Glenpool, OK to assist providers in examinations and treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality. You will handle patient history, vital signs, exams prep, injections, lab tests, and basic clerical duties as needed.

The role requires strong pc skills, medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to work all shifts. Prior MA experience and BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; MA program preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain BLS certification.
• 2 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• PC skills and basic medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients courteously, manages patient flow, and escorts to discharge counter.
• Obtains patient history, triages, measures vital signs, records chart.
• Explains procedures and prepares patient and exam room for provider.
• Prepares and hands instruments to provider; cleans and sterilizes equipment.
• Administers injections, meds, eye/ear care, wound care, and draws blood as directed.
• Performs diagnostic tests (eye exam, ECG, oxygen, peak flow).
• Conducts CLIA-waived lab tests and processes specimens for send-out.
• Supports occupational medicine protocols and proper lab prep for shipments.
• Prepares and administers medications with patient identifiers; documents logs.
• Removes sutures/staples and changes dressings; supports radiology when needed.
• Completes medical chart with services, results, and supplies used.
• Makes patient callbacks, arranges referrals and follow-ups.
• Monitors inventory and orders medical supplies/pharmaceuticals.
• Performs quality checks on medical equipment and participates in registration duties.
