Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Rose Creek Outpatient Clinic in Edmond, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant. The role involves direct patient care, taking vitals, history, venipuncture, lab work, referrals, and handling patient messages under supervision.

Qualifications include a nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration or 6 months MA experience, plus CPR/BLS within 90 days and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration required; OR 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition including lab values, pain levels, education needs, nutritional status and potential complications.
• Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients.
• Monitors and documents patient status.
• Participates in development and evaluation of the plan of care, including medication administration (exclusive of narcotics).
• Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
• Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.
