Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS certification.
• 2 years Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• PC skills and ability to read/write medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages flow to discharge counter.
• Records patient history, vitals, and chart information.
• Explains procedures and prepares exam rooms for examination.
• Administers injections and assists provider with procedures as directed.
• Performs CLIA-waived labs, draws blood and processes specimens.
• Assists with registration and performs clerical duties as needed.
