Job summary

Integrity Care Group in Enid, OK is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the provider in exams and treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality. You may assist in front office duties as needed. Duties may change with or without notice.

You will greet patients, obtain histories and vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures and injections. You may perform basic tests, lab work, blood draws, and chart documentation, ensuring supplies are stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• MA course completion certification preferred; BLS certification required.
• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Proficient PC skills and medical terminology literacy.
• Ability to work all shifts and assist with patient transport and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in the waiting area courteously and escorts to discharge counter.
• Obtains patient history, assesses/triages, measures vital signs, and records on chart.
• Explains procedures and prepares exam room for provider.
• Prepares instruments, cleans/sterilizes equipment, and hands to provider.
• Assists with injections, medications, wound care, blood draws, and procedures.
• Performs diagnostic tests (eye exam, ECG, monitoring, inhalation therapy).
• Performs CLIA-waived lab tests and collects specimens for send-out.
• Follows occupational medicine protocols and lab shipment prep.
• Documents medication administration with patient identifiers and logs.
• Performs dressing changes and sutures removal as directed; assists Radiology as needed.
• Completes medical chart with services rendered and supplies used.
• Schedules follow-ups, referrals, and patient callbacks; manages supplies inventory.
• Other duties as assigned; this is a safety-sensitive position.
