Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in examinations and treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality. The role includes patient history collection, vital signs, minor procedures, specimen handling, and clerical tasks as needed.

Candidates should have MA training, BLS certification, and 2 years of MA experience. This on-site position requires flexibility across shifts and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of MA program preferred.
• MA course completion certification preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain current BLS certification.
• 2 years MA experience preferred.
• PC skills or applicable computer experience.
• Ability to read and write medical terminology.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to escort or transport patient by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in waiting area and guides them through the process.
• Obtains patient history, vitals, and records information.
• Explains procedures and prepares exam room.
• Positions instruments and assists provider; sterilizes equipment.
• Administers injections, draws blood, and assists procedures as ordered.
• Performs basic diagnostic tests and CLIA-waived labs; handles specimens.
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and arranges for referrals.
• Completes medical charts and required documentation.
• Assists with registration and clerical duties as needed.
