Job summary

Frederick Health seeks a Medical Assistant for the IVOP Infusion Center on a part-time basis. You will perform clinical duties, record vital signs, assist with procedures and manage patient flow under provider supervision.

Qualifications

• Clinical patient care including vitals, histories and records in EHR.
• Assists with examinations and procedures.
• Educates patients on treatment procedures and medications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and equipment, maintain sterile field.
• Escort patients to rooms to maintain flow.
• Record medications, allergies and outcomes in the EHR.
• Assist physicians with procedures and injections.
• Process prescription refills in the EHR and communicate with pharmacies.
