Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Dartmouth is seeking a Medical Assistant with front office expertise to support clinical and administrative tasks in our weight management clinic. This part-time role covers patient intake, vitals, EKG, phlebotomy (preferred), and coordinating referrals.

You will handle a multi-line phone system, appointment scheduling, inventory, EMR documentation, and assist physicians. Experience with insurance and VOB is valued, and strong communication helps provide excellent patient

Qualifications

• Front office experience including insurance and VOB knowledge.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Conduct follow-up calls for patient referrals and progress.
• Greet patients, ensure excellent patient service, and maintain a friendly environment.
• Assist with monitoring daily inventory of clinical and office supplies.
• Scan and upload documents to patient files in EMR.
• Train staff on daily procedures and support clinic marketing efforts.
• Perform clinical duties such as obtaining vitals, administering EKG and IM injections as needed.
• Document patient progress notes and follow-up with patients.
