Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant required, or Radiologic Technologist/Radiology Assistant.
• 1–3 years of direct patient care experience preferred; experience in a medical office, patient registration, or healthcare customer service is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to complete cross-training in limited-scope radiology; prior X-ray experience is a plus.
• Strong computer and communication skills, including comfort using an electronic medical record.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification, registration, and payment collection preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing and walking and light lifting up to 20lbs, with reasonable accommodations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk and Patient Access: Welcome patients, register and verify info, collect payments, and update records.
• Clinical Care: Assist providers, take vital signs, document health history and medications, support procedures.
• Limited Radiology: Training for X-ray, position patients, document exams in EMR, ensure image quality.
• Clinic Operations and Safety: Maintain clean areas, assist with opening/closing, manage inventory and safety protocols.
