Job summary

ProHealth seeks a part-time Medical Assistant to perform medical assisting, blood draws and occupational testing in a Florida clinic. Responsibilities include DOT testing, EHR documentation and front desk support with occasional travel to the FL panhandle.

The ideal candidate has CCMA and/or Phlebotomy certification, at least one year in a medical office, and flexibility to work varied hours. ProHealth is a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• CCMA and/or Phlebotomy Certification required along with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical office performing Medical Assistant duties.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including outside of standard 8am–4pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out medical assistant duties including blood draws and occupational testing.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and document in EHR.
• Perform paper work and data entry within 24 hours of patient visits.
• Greet patients, check in/out and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain supplies and ensure equipment is in working order.
