Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Manufacturing Instructor in Las Vegas to begin ASAP. The instructor will develop and deliver lab and lecture classes, create student learning outcomes and course descriptions, and ensure a safe classroom and laboratory environment.

Primary teaching areas cover Advanced Manufacturing Technology; duties include program assessment, curriculum alignment, mentoring students, collaboration with industry, and engagement in college

Qualifications

Hold an associate's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering OR a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Experience.
A minimum of 2 years of Industrial Experience (Preferred).
A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Career and Technical Education (Preferred).
Bachelor's degree in education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Program assessment and curriculum development; student mentoring; assess student learning and progress; maintain accurate records; participate in professional development; outreach to college, community, and profession; supervise student staff as needed; collaborate with instructors and staff as assigned.
