Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor in Advanced Manufacturing - Mechatronic, DWED, FY 2027, beginning ASAP. The instructor will develop and instruct lab and lecture classes, and create student learning outcomes and course descriptions.

Primary teaching areas include Advanced Manufacturing Technology with core courses in Mechanical Technology, Automation/Robotics, PLCs, Industrial Electricity, Electronics, and Motor Control.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Technology or a related field, or ≥5 years of industrial experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of industrial experience (Preferred).
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Career and Technical Education (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and instruct lab and lecture classes and create student learning outcomes.
• Develop curriculum and lesson plans for Advanced Manufacturing topics.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Director of Advanced Manufacturing and participate in committees.
