Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College is looking for Part-Time Faculty to teach courses in fields such as electrical, automation, and mechatronics. Qualified applicants will join an ongoing pool for temporary teaching positions and contribute positively to students’ learning.

Candidates must have an associate’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing or a related field along with teaching experience. Pay is $1,050 to $1,150 per credit hour based on course level. Health benefits may be available under specific conditions, and paid orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Controls, or closely related field.
• At least 6 months’ experience in an advanced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in electrical, automation, mechanical, mechatronics, IIoT, robotics, and PLC.
• Assess student learning and provide support resources.
• Participate in professional development and maintain standards of conduct.
