Job summary

The MDS Nurse at Good Samaritan Brainerd, MN provides leadership in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing staff involved in each resident's care plan. The RN ensures the Resident Assessment Instrument process is applied and that resident assessments are completed on schedule.

With 24 hours per week part-time schedule, you collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain quality life outcomes for residents and support the on-floor nursing process in a Christian,

Qualifications

• RN license in state where practice occurs
• RAC-CT certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred and required licensure in many cases

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing staff activities
• Coordinate resident assessments and care plans with the inter-disciplinary team
• Ensure adherence to the Resident Assessment Instrument process and quality of life goals
