Job summary

Mathnasium of Laurel is seeking a Math Instructor/Tutor to deliver math instruction using the Mathnasium Method to 1st–12th grade students after school and on weekends.

You will work in a team environment, maintain a positive learning atmosphere, participate in ongoing training, and attend staff meetings roughly every 4–6 weeks. The role emphasizes helping students build confidence and math skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach math at least through Algebra I; higher-level math preferred.
• Willingness to learn and complete 15–20 hours of training within one month of hire.
• Ability to balance multiple students/topics and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Use the Mathnasium Method to teach students.
• Maintain good availability and accurately communicate hours.
• Attend staff meetings every 4–6 weeks.
• Support center operations and keep area clean and organized.
