Job summary

Mathnasium Bethesda is hiring a part-time Math Instructor/Tutor to deliver engaging math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will support students in 1st–12th grade, build confidence, and collaborate with a team in a center environment.

Hours are after school and weekends with paid training and ongoing coaching; the center provides all curriculum and instructional tools. You will interact with families professionally and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and ability to do math through Algebra 1; higher math preferred.
• Engage with students and create a fun learning environment.
• Willingness to complete ~20 hours of training in 1 month and ongoing coaching.
• Ability to multitask and track student work; provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Use the Mathnasium Method and teaching constructs.
• Maintain availability and communicate schedules.
• Be a great instructor and participate in staff meetings.
• Support center operations and keep space clean.
