Job summary

Mathnasium of Perry Hall is seeking a Part-Time Math Instructor/Tutor to deliver instruction using the Mathnasium Method™. You will work with 1st–12th grade students after school and on weekends, helping them build confidence and fluency in math.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with Algebra I or higher, enjoy working with kids, and can commit to 8–10 hours weekly across weekdays. Training and curriculum are provided; franchisee employer handles payroll.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate math ability at least through Algebra I; higher math preferred.
• Engage and inspire students, creating a fun learning environment.
• Complete 15-20 hours of training within one month of hire.
• Able to multitask with multiple students and topics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver math instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
• Maintain availability for after-school and weekend sessions.
• Attend staff meetings roughly every 4–6 weeks.
• Provide feedback and reinforce student confidence.
• Support center operations and keep space clean as needed.
