Job summary

Art of Problem Solving is seeking a passionate Math Instructor for our AoPS Academy in San Diego! In this part-time role, you will teach engaging math curriculum to advanced students, actively involve them in lessons, and manage small classroom sizes.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM-related field, and have strong knowledge in math. This position offers flexible hours, with classes held during afterschool and weekends, providing an opportunity to inspire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging curriculum to advanced students.
• Actively involve students in each class.
• Manage up to 16 students effectively.
• Provide feedback on tests and assignments.
• Connect with students and families to inspire learning.
