Job summary

Art of Problem Solving is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to join AoPS Academy in Cambridge, MA. This part-time role involves teaching an engaging curriculum designed for advanced students and actively involving them in the learning process.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, has strong content knowledge in math, and experience in teaching or tutoring. Flexible scheduling options are available, with classes in the evenings and weekends, and a commitment of about 3 hours per week for each class.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.
• Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging curriculum designed for advanced students.
• Actively involve students in each class.
• Manage up to 16 students in the classroom.
• Grade and provide feedback on tests.
• Connect with students and families to inspire learning.
