The role supports station visibility, audience engagement, client promotions, and community presence across the market, assisting with planning and execution of on-air, digital, social media, and community events.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in marketing, communications, broadcasting, public relations, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in promotions, events, marketing, customer service, radio, entertainment, or social media preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, follow detailed instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.

Lotus Seattle Corp in Seattle, Washington is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated part time Marketing and Promotions Assistant. The Part-Time Marketing and Promotions Assistant supports station visibility, audience engagement, client promotions, and community presence across the market. This position assists with the planning and execution of on-air, digital, social media, and community-based promotions; represents the stations at public events; and helps ensure that promotional commitments are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, setting up, staffing, and breaking down station promotions, remotes, concerts, appearances, contests, community events, and client activations.
• Represent the company and its stations professionally when interacting with listeners, advertisers, vendors, talent, community partners, and the public.
• Prepare event materials, promotional displays, signage, banners, prizes, station vehicles, and equipment, and confirm that all required items are available before each event.
• Support marketing campaigns across websites, email, mobile applications, social media, and other digital platforms, including drafting and scheduling approved content.
• Capture event photos and short-form video and organize approved content for station marketing and social media use.
• Assist with contest administration, prize fulfillment, winner communication, release forms, inventory records, and related documentation in accordance with station rules and applicable law.
• Maintain accurate promotional calendars, event recaps, prize and merchandise inventory, supply records, and vendor or client information.
• Coordinate with Programming, Sales, Digital, Engineering, and on-air personnel to support station and advertiser objectives.
• Safely operate company vehicles and promotional equipment when authorized, and promptly report vehicle, equipment, safety, or event concerns.
• Follow company policies, event safety procedures, brand standards, FCC requirements, contest rules, and management direction.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in marketing, communications, broadcasting, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in promotions, events, marketing, customer service, radio, entertainment, or social media is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage several assignments, follow detailed instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic digital content practices; familiarity with design, photo, or video tools is a plus.
• Professional judgment and discretion when handling contest information, listener data, client information, and public-facing communications.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes based on events and business needs.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and insurability under company standards when driving is an assigned job duty.
Physical and Work Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull promotional materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, load and unload equipment, and perform event setup and breakdown duties.
• Ability to work in environments with crowds, amplified sound, flashing lights, and changing activity levels.

Compensation:
$20-22 DOE
