Job summary

Pine Park Health seeks a Part-Time Market Medical Director to supervise clinical teams delivering value-based care to seniors across the Bay Area. This role emphasizes leadership, protocol development, and collaboration with physicians, specialists, and health plans.

You will mentor clinicians, oversee performance standards, and support continuous quality improvement while occasionally covering clinical needs as required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Geriatrics and/or palliative care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and supervision for NPs and PAs.
• Establish clinical standards and protocols for evidence-based care.
• Build collaborative relationships with referring physicians and health plan partners.
• Shape care coordination for complex cases using geriatric and value-based care principles.
• Mentor and supervise clinical team through reviews and shadowing.
