Job summary

Pine Park Health is seeking a Part-Time Market Medical Director to supervise clinical teams delivering geriatric, value-based care across the Bay Area. You will set clinical standards, coordinate with NPs, PAs, physicians, and health plans, and help expand our senior-care network.

The role emphasizes leadership over direct patient panels, with travel to partner facilities, mentorship, and ensuring Medicare-aligned care delivery. Strong geriatrics background preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with geriatrics or palliative care experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of value-based care and RAF coding; data-driven approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight enabling NPs and PAs to practice at top of license.
• Establish and maintain clinical standards and protocols for consistent care delivery.
• Build collaborative relationships with referring physicians, specialists, and health plan medical directors.
• Shape approach to complex case management with geriatric and value-based care principles.
• Support professional development through supervision, case reviews and mentorship.
