Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is seeking a Part-Time Mammography Technician ARRT(M) to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms at our Bronx-based flagship site El Nuevo San Juan. A regular 2-3 shifts per week schedule includes Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Minimum hourly $60 with potential to up to $64 depending on years of ARRT(M) experience. The role requires ARRT Mammography Certification, NYS DOH Radiology Technician License, and 2+ years of mammography experience; bilingual Spanish/English

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography Certification required.
• NYS DOH Radiology Technician License required.
• Completion of 2 years from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• 2+ years of mammography experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient education regarding the exam, promote patient privacy and comfort.
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammography as ordered; complete documentation.
• Lead training for other Mammo Techs and ensure high-quality films.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Serve as liaison between patients, radiologists and support team.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain competence.
