Urban Health Plan in the Bronx seeks a Mammography Technologist for its flagship El Nuevo San Juan site. This part-time role offers 2–3 regular shifts per week, with Saturday 8:00am–5:00pm required and additional shifts possible Monday–Friday based on availability.

The role requires ARRT Mammography Certification, NYS DOH Radiology Technician License, and completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (2 years).

Qualificações

• ARRT Mammography Certification is required.
• NYS DOH Radiology Technician License is required.
• Completion of 2 years from an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• 2+ years of mammography experience (screening and diagnostic).
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Complete patient education regarding the exam and ensure privacy and comfort.
• Perform diagnostic or screening mammography as ordered and document appropriately.
• Act as lead for the division in training other Mammography Technologists.
• Produce high-quality films for radiologist evaluation with attention to detail.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography and follow infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accuracy in positioning and exposure technique and stay current with knowledge.
