Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center in White Plains, NY is seeking a part-time Radiologic Mammography/Bone Density Technologist for outpatient imaging. You will perform routine mammography and bone density exams, prepare patients, and assist radiologists, with responsibilities across projection, QA, and film processing.

The role requires MQSA certification, ARRT mammography, New York license, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Required and Certificate allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital based program.
• 1-3 years 2 years of experience Preferred
• Must be able to work in environment with continuous interruptions (High proficiency)
• Passing advanced mammo examination/certification within one year of date of hire including 40 hours of training in mammo and 25 mammo exams under direct supervision during orientation.
• New York State-DOH-Radiology License Upon Hire Required and ARRT-M Mammography certification preferred or within 1 year from date of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographic imaging and some special procedures.
• Prepares patients and positions them correctly for examinations.
• Assists radiologists during procedures and ensures quality of images.
• Maintains equipment QA/QC and assists with calibrations and supplies.
• Operates Meditech RIS and PACS imaging systems and processes images.
