Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved accredited school.
• Current license to work in Rhode Island with active ARRT and mammography certification.
• Two years radiology experience including mammography.
• Knowledge of MQSA, ACR and ISCD guidelines as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Explain mammographic and bone density exams to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort according to standards.
• Schedule bone density and mammography exams for efficient flow.
• Operate radiographic equipment in the Radiology Department.
• Process images and send to PACS for physician review.
• Rotate within the department and train staff/radiologic students.
