White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring precise documentation and protocol adherence. You will generate high-quality images, assist radiologists during procedures, and manage QA/QC activities with an emphasis on patient safety.

The role requires a radiography program certificate or equivalent, NY state license, and MQSA/Mammography certification within one year; BLS prior to or shortly after hire.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required and allied health/radiography program.
• MQSA mammography training orientation and certification within 12 months.
• ARRT Mammography required or within 1 year of hire.
• New York State Radiology license required.
• Basic life support (BLS) recommended/required within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and positions patients correctly for examinations and documents protocol requirements.
• Produces high-quality images and reviews exams for completeness.
• Assists physicians during procedures as needed.
• Performs QA/QC and calibrations and orders supplies.
• Works on-call, holidays, overtime and various shifts as needed.
