Job summary

White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform routine and some special radiographic procedures. You will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist radiologists while upholding radiation safety and hospital standards.

The role requires flexibility for on-call and varied shifts, with emphasis on high-quality image production and patient care. Qualifications include a radiography certificate or equivalent program, NY licensure, and mammography

Qualifications

High School required.
Certificate in allied health education and accredited radiography program.
Associate degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience preferred.
Must have radiology license and mammography certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients and position for examinations, document imaging details.
Operate radiology equipment and ensure QA/QC checks are performed.
Assist radiologists during procedures and maintain patient safety standards.
Maintain department cleanliness and stock supplies, respond to emergencies as needed.
Handle on-call, holiday, and various shift coverage to ensure department safety.
