Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a part-time Male Specimen Collector in Virginia, MN. You will collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens, maintain follow-up documentation, and assist the lab as a bridge between clinics and the laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in the medical field, plus 2+ years in customer service. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, with HIPAA/compliance awareness expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable)
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required
