Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Oceanside, CA is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to help keep the community safe, clean, and well-functioning for residents, families, and staff.

You will perform basic repairs, assist with painting, support HVAC and mechanical systems, conduct safety checks, and follow OSHA and infection control standards, including driving the community vehicle as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills.
