Job summary

State of Arkansas is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support the Parks, Heritage and Tourism facilities. The role focuses on light maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of buildings and grounds.

Primary duties include preventative maintenance, documenting tasks, and supporting fleet upkeep under supervision. Must hold a valid driver's license; expected work ~16 hours weekly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning, upkeep, and sanitation of building interiors and exteriors.
• Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and minor structural issues.
• Help execute scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Monitor and log work orders and document service requests.
