Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years related experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and construction tasks for grounds, parks, and buildings.
• Develop and follow daily work orders and schedules.
• Operate industrial truck to transport materials within the City.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and perform basic plumbing/electrical tasks.
• Respond to inclement weather and city service needs as essential staff.
• Assist with special projects for parks and recreation department.
