Job summary

Springhouse - a HumanGood community in Boston is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to help keep our buildings safe, comfortable and well-maintained. You’ll be hands-on, addressing repairs and coordinating with outside contractors to ensure operations run smoothly and residents enjoy a high‑quality living environment.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance or building trades, HVAC or trade certifications is a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in maintenance, construction, or building trades.
• HVAC, trade, or utilities certifications are a big plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Weekend availability, plus some evenings or weekdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep community safe, comfortable, and in great shape; perform repairs and coordinate larger projects.
• Plan, schedule, and inspect work of outside contractors for operation, maintenance, repair, and safeguarding of buildings and Community.
• May be on call in case of an emergency.
