The role requires hands-on abilities and knowledge of high-rise building systems and OSHA guidelines, with the ability to operate hand and power tools. Some after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and building systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with elevators and high-rise building systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform general mechanical tasks (electrical, plumbing, heating, appliance repairs, groundskeeping).
• Execute preventive maintenance and routine checks in mechanical and boiler rooms.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Perform unit inspections with Resident Service Teams for safety and integrity.
• Maintain inventory for equipment and tools; assist with pest control inspection.
• Be available for evening, weekend, and holiday emergency coverage.
• Report safety concerns to Facilities leadership and file incident reports.
