Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team at Hanover, MA communities. You will perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, basic carpentry, painting and drywall repair to support the Service Manager.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years in facilities maintenance, strong English communication, solid computer skills, and a customer-focused

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to on-call for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable vehicle to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, carpentry, painting and drywall repair.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and exterior grounds in accordance with company standards.
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner and with initiative.
