Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Operates various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition meeting safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude in interactions with staff and residents.
