Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties across our properties. This full-time role requires hands-on work and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repairs, with drywall and painting tasks as needed. The position includes weekend shifts and outdoor work in different weather conditions, coordinating with other staff to keep facilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or some college credits from a technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and appliance repair; drywall repairs and painting experience are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondences.

Responsibilities

• Operates various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition that meets safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
• Maintains a positive Customer Service attitude in interactions with staff and property residents.
