Job summary

Silverado St. Charles is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to keep our memory care community safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. This hands-on role blends technical skill with a heart for service.

Reporting to the Director of Plant Operations, you will perform general maintenance, assist with repairs and inspections, and help ensure a clean, well‑maintained space. This part-time PM shift offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Schedule: Part Time, PM shift, Tuesday -Thursday

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $20 USD
