Unitek Learning is seeking a part-time nursing instructor for the LVN program in Bakersfield, California. This role requires teaching with weekend availability and no prior teaching experience is needed.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of employment.
• 3 years bedside experience with RN/BSN or 6 years with LVN/Associates Degree.
• Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification or ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality of instruction using innovative methodologies.
• Submit program reports to the Director.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms.
• Teach lecture content and supervise clinical rotations.

Skills

Current knowledge of nursing practice

Education

Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse
