Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI. This flexible, part-time role offers anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, based on a luxury hotel environment.

Pay rate is $20.25 per hour. The schedule includes day-time shifts with fixed anchors and opportunities to scale to more hours while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities within a luxury hotel setting.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of guest areas, entrances, exits, public spaces, back-of-house areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests and vendors, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with hotel management and leadership regarding daily activities and incidents.
