Lowe’s Guardian Angel is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Georgia to oversee medical care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will work under the Nursing Director to coordinate care, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with DBHDD standards.

This role emphasizes clinical judgment, organized scheduling, and collaboration with direct-care staff.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in Georgia.
• CPR/BLS certification must be current.
• Experience with IDD, dual diagnosis, or behavioral health preferred.
• Knowledge of DBHDD standards and MAR/HRST documentation preferred.
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate medical care and oversight for individuals in residential/day-support settings.
• Complete and oversee medical documentation and progress notes.
• Coordinate medical appointments, transportation, and referrals.
• Conduct monthly medical audits and review MARs for accuracy.
• Educate and train staff on medical-management and safety protocols.
• Attend ISP/SIS meetings as assigned.
