The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Warrensville Developmental Center team in Highland Hills, Ohio. You will deliver direct patient care under supervision, assist physicians, and help manage medications and physical assessments in a dynamic clinical setting.

Formación

• License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code.
• Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis treatment must possess Certification in IV Therapy pursuant to Section 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the direction of Registered Nurses and/or licensed physicians, performing skilled nursing procedures in assigned work areas and clinics.
• Assist physicians in examinations and data collection (vital signs, measurements) and support emergency responses as required.
• Maintain medication accountability records, document client condition, and transcribe orders to MAR/Kardex as needed.
• Provide general nursing support and programming assistance, train direct care staff, and prepare shift reports; coordinate with pharmacy for medications and equipment.
