Job summary

Chapman Auto Stores is seeking a part-time Lot Attendant to park and re-park vehicles across the lot in an orderly fashion. You will ensure space is used efficiently and assist in moving customer cars after service, always thanking guests as they depart.

The role requires attention to instructions, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, plus good judgment in daily operations. Work hours include weekdays and Saturdays with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral.
• Good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Re-park vehicles to maximize use of space, and keep the lot in order.
• Park customer vehicles after placing seat covers and floor mats.
• Retrieve customer vehicles after service and thank the customer.

Position Purpose

The Lot Attendant parks new and customer vehicles in the appropriate area of the lot in an orderly manner.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Re-park vehicles to maximize use of space, and keeps lot in order.
• Parks customer vehicles after putting on seat cover and floor mat.
• Retrieves customer vehicles after service and thanks customer.
• Maintains shop cleanliness, such as emptying oil and coolant drains and trash cans
• Replenish hat tags, seat covers, and floor mats
• Assist in snow removal and snow clean up

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral. Valid driver’s license and a good driving records. Good judgement.

Work Requirements

Monday-Friday 1:30-6PM

Saturdays 7:30 - 2:30

Occasional overtime may be required.
